¿Qué me pongo? 5 ideas de outfits para eventos otoñales / What do I wear? 5 outfits for fall and winter events

Ya comenzado el otoño empiezan a bajar las temperaturas y se complica un poco más el tema eventos en lo que a outfits se refiere. Por eso, os traigo cinco propuestas low cost que me parecen perfectas para BBC's de otoño/invierno. Pero antes de empezar me gustaría daros algunos tips que yo consideraría a la hora de vestirme para un evento de este tipo en esta época del año.

Fall has started and it's getting cold so be dressed to an event starts to be more complicated, that's why I have made 5 outfit proposals for fall/winter occasions. But first, I would like to give you a few tips that I would consider if I had to be dress for an event on this time of the year.

En primer lugar, apostaría por un largo de manga tres cuartos, es un largo que me encanta y que en verano es más difícil de llevar por el calor. La bajada de temperaturas es la excusa perfecta para apostar por él.

First of all, I would bet for a 3/4 sleeve. It's a length that I love and I find more difficult to wear it in spring/summer events because of the heat so fall and winter weather an excellent excuse to go for it. 

Otro tema a tener en cuenta son los tejidos. Podemos apostar por telas como el satén o el terciopelo, tejidos con cierto brillo que apetecen mucho en esta época del año y que en algunos casos (como el terciopelo) son imposibles de llevar con las altas temperaturas.

Another thing to take into account are textiles. We could bet for fabrics such as sateen or velvet, with a little bit of sheen that I find perfect for this time of the year. Talking about velvet, its thickness makes it impossible to wear on spring or summer so it's our time!

Respecto a colores, apostaría por tonos tierra, verdes y burdeos. No está mal añadir una nota de color al look, pero creo que estos tonos son muy favorecedores y perfectos para esta época del año.

Talking about colors, I would bet for earth tones, greens and burgundy. It's good to add color to our outfits but I found these ones so fetching and perfect for this time of the year. 

En cuanto al calzado, me decantaría por un zapato cerrado tipo stiletto con vestidos y faldas midi o cortas y con pantalones pero, personalmente, sigo prefiriendo las sandalias para los vestidos largos (salvo que estemos en pleno invierno y no haya más remedio que acudir a un calzado más abrigado).

Regarding footwear, I would choose stilettos with midi or short skirts and dresses or with trousers but I personally prefer sandals with long dresses or skirts (except if we're in the middle of the winter and we have no choice but wearing a warmer kind of shoes).

Por último, dependiendo de dónde y en qué momento concreto sea el evento (no es lo mismo una boda a principios de octubre que a finales de enero), tenéis que tener en cuenta que probablemente debáis llevar algo para protegeros del frío. Yo no lo he incluido en los outfits, pero un buen abrigo o una estola son perfectos para abrigarnos en este tipo de eventos ;)

Finally, and depending where and when the event takes place (it's not the same early October or the end of January), you have to take into account that you would have to wear some kind of outwear. I haven't include this on the outfits but a good coat or stole could be necessary in some cases. 

Y dicho esto, vamos con mis propuestas.

And now, let's go with the outfits. 

Outfit 1: Falda midi

Outfit 1: Midi skirt

En este primer outfit hay un protagonista indiscutible: la falda. Yo aprovecharía que es una prenda muy especial para quitarle importancia al resto de prendas y accesorios. Una camisa en un tono parecido con un toque satinado, remangada y con los botones abiertos hasta el escote; unos salones nude, unos aros dorados clásicos pero con un toque especial y un bolso crudo que no llame demasiado la atención. El pelo lo llevaría recogido en un moño bajo un poco despeinado.

On this first outfit there's a main character: the skirt. That's why I have chosen minimal clothes and accesories to complement it: a basic satin skirt in nude, rolling up the sleeves and unbuttoned until the chest; a nude pair of stilettos, golden hoop earrings with a special touch and a nude bag. I would twist my hair up into a spiky chignon.

Otra opción que me encanta y que, aunque es apta para cualquier época del año me parece que el otoño es su momento, es el traje de chaqueta.

Another option that I love is a suit. They're suitable the whole year but I found autumn its moment. 

Como ya os he dicho, esta temporada el satén es tendencia y me parece un tejido perfecto para eventos, con el toque justo de brillo para darle un aire especial al look. Por eso, he escogido un traje en color pistacho de Zara que yo, personalmente, llevaría con la chaqueta abrochada y sin nada debajo (aunque también se admite algún tipo de top, por ejemplo uno lencero).

As I said before, sateen is trendy this season and I think that is a perfect fabric for events, with a little touch of sheen. That's why I have chosen a pistachio green suit from Zara that I would personally wear just with a bra and the blazer buttoned a lingerie top behind it could be also a good option).

Como el traje es bastante sencillo podemos apostar por complementos un poco más llamativos, como unos pendientes dorados con pedrería, un bolso bombonera de lentejuelas o un anillo un poco especial. En cuanto al calzado me decantaría por unos zapatos negros con apliques dorados de tacón bajo.

The suit is quite simple so we can bet for flashy accessories such as big golden earrings, a sequins little bag or a special ring. Regarding shoes, I would choose a black pair of low-heeled ones with golden details.

Outfit 3: Vestido de terciopelo

Ya os he comentado que esta época del año me parece perfecta para apostar por tejidos que, a priori,  no se suelen ver en primavera/verano; por ejemplo, el terciopelo.

I've already mention that this season it's perfect for fabrics that are not very suitable on spring or summer, such as velvet. 

En este caso he escogido un vestido en uno de mis colores favoritos para esta tejido: el verde esmeralda. Puesto que se trata de una tela gruesa, yo escogería un vestido tipo wrap, un corte que estiliza bastante y contrarresta el efecto volumen. Lo combinaría con toques nudes, dorados y burdeos a través de los complementos.

In this case, I have chosen an emerald green dress, one of my favorite colors for this fabric. That's a thick textile that could add volume to our body so I would choose a wrap dress that slim down our figure. I would match it with accessories in nude, gold and burgundy.

Outfit 4: Transparencias

Como ya vimos en el post anterior, este otoño/invierno las transparencias son tendencia. Por eso, no he podido resistirme a incluir este vestido de lunares y tul. Me parece perfecto para eventos de día, combinado con complementos con cierto aire retro y unos stilettos tipo Chanel.

As we saw in the last post, this season transparencies are trendy, and I found this tulle dress with polka dots so irresistible to include it here. I found it perfect for day events with some retro touches in complements, like a Chanel kind of shoes or golden earrings with a 70's vibes.

Outfit 5: Vestido largo

Por último, no podía dejar de incluir un vestido largo en esta selección. He escogido este, en color cereza, que combinaría con sandalias minimalistas en dorado, un cinturón joya y complementos que jueguen con los colores del propio cinturón (en este caso el verde esmeralda).

Finally, I cannot fail to include a long dress. I have chosen this one in cherry-red that I would combine with minimalist sandals in gold, a jewel belt and a touch of color with earrings and bag in emerald green.
