Tendencias primavera-verano 2021 // Spring-summer 2021 Trends

Una vez estrenada la primavera es hora de hablar de tendencias. Como cada año, os traigo un post donde recojo algunas de las más vistas en tiendas. ¡Allá vamos!

Spring has sprung and it's time to talk about trends. Like every year, I have chosen some of the main trends we will see in stores this season. Let's go!

Colores

Tonos pastel

Pastel tones

Si el año pasado el malva fue protagonista de muchos de nuestros looks, este año se abre el abanico a tonos amarillos, verdes, rosas o azules con un punto naíf. Ahora que empieza el buen tiempo, son de lo más apetecibles, ¿verdad?

Last year, mauve was the main colour in our looks but this time we expand the range to pastels like yellow, green, pink or blue. Now that the weather starts to be warmer they're appealing, don't you think so?

Verde brillante

Si algo necesitamos después de un año de pandemia es esperanza. El verde, color por antonomasia de este sentimiento coge carrerilla para situarse como color fetiche de la temporada en su versión más brillante. Podemos apostarlo todo a esta tonalidad a través de vestidos y conjuntos o aportar un toque de color a looks más sobrios a través de accesorios o prendas pequeñas como las mini faldas. 

If there's something we need after a year of pandemic that's hope. Green, this feeling colour par excellence, takes a run to become the fetish tone of this season in its bright version. We can bet for it in dresses or sets or just give a touch of colour to our looks with accessories or little garments such as mini skirts.

Naranja

Orange

Y siguiendo la estela de colores enérgicos que hagan contrapeso a la situación que vivimos, esta temporada llenamos nuestros looks de vitamina C. Desde tonos suaves como el melocotón a colores mandarina o naranja brillante a los que podemos recurrir en pequeñas dosis o con los que podemos darlo todo. 

Following the trend of energetic colours which counterbalance the situation we are living in, this season we will fill our looks with C Vitamin. From softer tones such as peach to mandarine or bright orange, we could use them in small doses or make it the main tone in our outfits.

Ganchillo

Crochet 

Si alguna de vosotras se aficionó a hacer ganchillo durante el confinamiento, estáis de suerte. Camisas, vestidos, chalecos e incluso bolsos elaborados con esta técnica tradicional inundan nuestras tiendas favoritas y hacen las delicias de las amantes de la estética 'hippie'.

If any of you started crocheting during the lockdown, you're so lucky. Shirts, dresses, vests and even bags made of this traditional technique flood our favourite stores and delight the 'hippie' esthetic lovers.

Plisados, fruncidos, nido de abeja... esta temporada nos unimos al leit motiv 'la arruga es bella' y lo adaptamos a nuestras prendas y accesorios. Un toque de volumen que puede ser muy favorecedor y que, en algunas prendas, nos traslada a nuestra querida infancia. 

Pleating, gathering, smocking... this season we declare 'wrinkles are beauty' and passed it to our outfits. A touch of volume that could be very becoming and, in some cases, remind us of our dear childhood.

Satinados

Sateen

De tacto agradable y con un ligero brillo que les hace sofisticados, los tejidos satinados serán nuestros grandes aliados esta temporada para hacer de contrapunto a estilismos más casuales. Lo veremos en vestidos de estilo lencero como en camisas, faldas, tops e incluso trajes. Un tejido fresco y muy apetecible cuando suben las temperaturas. 

With a soft touch and a light shine that makes it sophisticated, sateen will be our best partner this season to contrast casual outfits. We will see it in lace dresses, shirts, skirts, tops and even suits. A fresh and appealing textile when the weather gets warmer.

Stripes

Siempre han estado presentes en nuestros looks, pero este año toman la delantera y se sitúan como uno de los estampados favoritos para esta temporada. Desde el clásico azul marino/blanco a tonos rosas, amarillos o rojizos, las rayas pueden ayudarnos a estilizar nuestra figura y tienen siempre ese aire a mar que nos traslada a las vacaciones de verano. 

They are always present but this year they take place as one of the favourites prints. From the classical navy/white to pink, yellow or reddish tones, stripes could help us stylizing the figure and had a resemblance to the sea and moves us directly to summer holidays.

Vichy

Gingham

El vichy siempre ha sido el cuadro estival. Con su aire provenzal y su encanto francés se convierte en imprescindible cuando empiezan a subir las temperaturas. Este año, además, se corona como una de las tendencias principales de la temporada. Más allá del clásico blanco y negro, lo llevaremos en forma de prendas o accesorios en cualquier combinación de color.

Gingham has always been the summer check. With a Provencal resemblance and a french charm, it becomes a must when the temperature rises. This year it will also be one of the main trends. Beyond the classical black and white, we will wear it in garments and accessories in different colour combinations.

Flores

Como cada año, el estampado de flores se reformula para ganarse un sitio en nuestro corazón (y en nuestro armario). El print primaveral por excelencia tiende a crecer en tamaño y se conquista complementos como sandalias, bolsos o accesorios. 

As every year, the floral print changes to win a place in our hearts (and wardrobes). The spring print par excellence grows this season and takes sandals, bags or accessories over.

Llevan en la cresta de la ola varias temporadas pero parece que este año serán más tendencia que nunca. Ya sea a través del clásico traje, conjuntos de punto, chandal... no hay nada más fácil y efectivo que apostar por un conjunto, sobre todo cuando la inspiración nos abandona, ¿hay algo mejor para enfrentar los días de 'no sé qué ponerme'? Yo creo que no ;)

They have been trendy for years and this one is not an exception. Suits, knitwear sets, tracksuits...there's nothing more easy and effective than bet for a set, especially when inspiration leave us. Is there anything better to face a 'don't know what to wear' day? I don't think so ;)

Continúa el reinado de los crop tops (en algunos casos podemos hablar incluso de bralettes). Reconozco que, aunque no me gusta enseñar la tripa, con una blazer u otro tipo de chaqueta por encima me encantan. Este año, como novedad, incluímos las tiras o el tejido de crochet a la ecuación. 

The crop top kingdom continues (we could even talk about bralettes). I don't like showing the belly but I think they look so good with a blazer or any other jacket on. This year novelties are laces and crochet.

Chalecos

Vests

Arrastramos tendencia del otoño/invierno, esta vez adaptada a temperaturas más altas. El punto se vuelve más fino, los colores más claros y aparecen en nuevos tejidos como el lino o en cortes tipo crop. Los chalecos pueden ser una pieza clave del entretiempo con una camisa o camiseta debajo o por sí mismos cuando el calor apriete. Nos rendimos a su versatilidad. 

We drag this trend from the last autumn/winter, adapted to warmer temperatures. The knitwear becomes lighter, colours brighter and new textiles or styles appear such as linen and crop ones. We could wear them alone or with t-shirts or shirts underneath. Their versatility is the key.

Ballet flats

¿Será este año su regreso definitivo? Las bailarinas pasaron de ser la niña bonita que calzaba nuestros pies a inundar los altillos. Parece que esta temporada vuelven en su versión más clásica, con punta más bien cuadrada y un estilo minimalista. 

Could this year be its definitive return? Ballet flats were our wardrobes joy years ago until we leave them in the bottom of our wardrobes. This season, they seem to return in its most classical version, with an almost square toe and a minimalist style.

Zuecos

Aunque personalmente no les veo mucho recorrido, las principales tiendas low cost apuestan por ellos. Ya sea en su versión más sofisticada, estilo sandalia y con tacón de madera, o en su versión más cómoda, cerrado y prácticamente plano, ¿os animáis con ellos? Yo, por el momento, paso palabra. 

Although I personally don't like them so much, our main stores bet for them. Either on its more sophisticated version, a sandal with a wooden heel, or in its comfiest one, closed and almost flat. What do you think?

Sé que a muchas os horrorizan, pero a mi me encantan. Ya el año pasado se hicieron su hueco y este parece que cobran, si cabe, aún más protagonismo. Las encontramos en diferentes colores y formas, algunas más bastas que otras, pero todas con ese punto 'bruto' que las hace perfectas para contrarestar la feminidad de los vestidos veraniegos (una combinación de 10). 

I know many of you hate them but I love them. Last year they become to be popular and it seems that this one they will be even more protagonists. We could find them in different shapes and colours, more or less rude but with this rough touch that makes them perfect to counteract the summer dresses feminity.

Caps

Aunque no hemos dejado de lado los 'bucket hats' (que seguirán siendo tendencia) las gorras se convierten en protagonistas esta temporada agregando un toque 'sporty' a nuestros looks. Ya sean en tonos pastel, neutros o incluso personalizables, las opciones son tan inmensas como su capacidad para adaptarse a cualquier estilismo. 

Although we will continue to wear bucket hats, caps will share the protagonism this season, adding a sporty touch to our looks. Even in pastels, neutrals or making them personal, the options are as huge as their versatility.

Pañuelos y fulares

Scarfs and foulards

Aunque parece que este año las principales firmas low cost intentan meternos el pañuelo a la cabeza por los ojos, lo cierto es que es un accesorio súper versátil capaz de cambiar cualquier look. De hecho, podemos convertirlo en faldas, vestidos o tops con un poco de maña y algún tutorial de Instagram o Youtube. Llenos de color, con estampados tipo retro y aspecto satinado, los pañuelos pueden ser el accesorio clave que convierta nuestro look en un lookazo. 

Although it seems that this year the main low-cost stores are trying to make us wear the scarfs in our heads, the truth is that this is a trendy and versatile accessory which can make the difference. We could transform them into skirts, tops or even dresses with some skills and some Instagram or Youtube tutorials. Full of colour, with retro prints and satin aspect.

Anillos cristal

Glass rings

Sí, esos anillos de cristal/plástico que lucíamos de pequeñas vuelven a ser tendencia. Aunque no estoy segura de que lleguen a verse excesivamente en la calle, algunas de las influencers más top como Chiara Ferragni ya se han rendido a sus encantos. Si os animáis y no conserváis ninguno al fondo de un cajón, tenéis bastantes opciones en tienda para matar el gusanillo. 

Those plastic/glass rings we used to wear in our childhood became trendy this season. Although I'm not sure about their success, some of the top influencers such as Chiara Ferragni had already wear them. If you want to try but don't keep any of them in the bottom of the drawer, you have different options in stores ;)
