Tendencias FW 2018-2019 / FW 2018-2019 Trends

Después de unos meses desaparecida del blog vuelvo con las pilas cargadas y muchas ganas de crear contenido y darle un nuevo impulso a esta aventura. Y no podía comenzar este "nuevo curso" de otra forma que hablando de tendencias, concretamente de las tendencias que se avecinan (o incluso que ya están en escaparates, tiendas y en nuestros propios armarios) para la próxima temporada otoño/invierno.

After a few moths out of the blog I come back with energy and looking forward to create new content and give new impetus to this adventure. I couldn't start this 'new course' without talking about trends,  specifically about new fall/winter trends that we actually saw today in shops and maybe in our own wardrobes. 

Como siempre, no son todas las que están pero están las que me parecen más interesantes o las que más me gustan ;) Allá vamos!

As always, I'll just talk about the ones that I like the most or that I think are the most interesting. Let's go! ;)

Colores

Fluor
Neon 

Aunque las grandes firmas apostaron por estos tonos (incluso en medias de estas tonalidades) todavía no los hemos visto mucho en tiendas. Aparecen sobre todo en jerseys y accesorios y en moda de hombre, pero puede que de la noche a la mañana den el salto a primera línea. Desde luego, frente a la sobriedad del otoño no está mal aportar un poco de color.

Although big fashion brands bet for this colors (even for tights with this colors) we still haven't seen it so much in shops. They mainly appear in sweaters and accessories or in men's clothing but maybe in a near future we will saw them more. They certainly bring energy to the plain colors of the autumn.

Tonos tierra
Earth tones

Siguiendo la estela de las tendencias de verano, los colores naturales no abandonan nuestro armario, tonos tierra muy otoñales que llegan a todas las tiendas (en Zara les ha dado por el marrón chocolate) y que son muy fáciles de combinar.

Following the wake of the summer trends, natural and neutral colors don't leave our wardrobes. Earth tones so autumnal that arrive to shops (Zara bets for chocolate brown) and that are so easy to combine.

Metálicos

Con aires futuristas, esta próxima temporada las grandes firmas y las tiendas han apostado por los tonos metálicos, especialmente el plateado. Lo encontramos en todo tipo de prendas y accesorios: camisas, pantalones, abrigos, zapatos... (Quizá haya llegado el momento de estrenar una biker plateada que guardo en mi armario desde hace dos años y todavía no ha visto la luz del sol). Desde luego son colores muy aptos para eventos, pero parece que además este otoño tomarán la calle.

With futuristic vibes, this new season big fashion brands and shops have bet for metallic colors, especially for silver ones. We could find them in all kind of clothing and accessories: shirts, trousers, coats, shoes... (Maybe it's my time to show off a silver biker I've been saving in my wardrobe for two years that have never seen the sunlight). They are surely good colors for occasions but it seems that this autumn they will take the streets.

Una tendencia que ya empezó a intuirse en verano y que llega a esta nueva temporada con más fuerza que nunca. Si bien el leopardo nunca muere del todo, esta vez se eleva a su máximo exponente apareciendo en todo tipo de prendas y accesorios e incluso en diferentes tonalidades. A él se unen otros dos prints: serpiente y cebra. El lado más salvaje de la moda inunda las tiendas y, como no, también nuestros armarios.

We start seeing this trend in summer but with the new season it will come strongest. Even though the leopard print never dies, in autumn it will conquer every clothing and accessories and we will saw it in different colors. Next to it, two other animal prints will take the streets: snake and zebra. The wildest side of fashion flood shops and, unsurprisingly, our wardrobes.

No cabe duda de que los cuadros son para el otoño, y si el año pasado teníamos príncipe de Gales hasta en la sopa este año le toca el turno al tartán. El típico estampado escocés se reinventa y aparece en diversas prendas y accesorios en los tonos más clásicos y también con combinaciones más frescas y arriesgadas que incluyen tonos flúor.

With no doubt checks are for autumn and if the last year we had Prince of Wales everywhere this year tartan takes its turn. The typical Scottish print rebrand itself and appears in clothing and accessories in its classical colors and with more risky and fresh combinations that include neon tones.

Al más puro estilo 80's este estampado icono de Versace vuelve con fuerza convirtiéndose en uno de los must de la temporada. Lo encontramos sobre todo en vestidos y camisas que hacen las delicias de toda fashionista que se precie ;)

A genuine 80's style, this iconic Versace print come back stronger than ever becoming a must for this season. We could found it in dresses or shirts that delight every fashionist ;)

Ya el año pasado hablábamos de combatir el frío con el layered, es decir, vistiéndonos a capas. Y aunque este año la tendencia continúa no es de esas capas de las que quiero hablaros si no de la capa como prenda (muy versátil si queremos vestirnos en plan cebolla). Tipo poncho, abrigo o americana, las grandes firmas apostaron por ellas y las tiendas low cost no se han quedado atrás incorporando muchos modelos a su nueva colección.

Last year we talk about fighting the cold with layered outfits. This year, we still use layers in our outfits and we have one more element to complete them: cape coats. Wether ponchos, coats or blazers, big fashion brands bet for them and low cost shops haven't fallen behind adding them to new collections.

Blazer-vestido

Ya el año pasado veíamos algunas pinceladas de lo que este año será tendencia. Y si las americanas de cuadros conquistaron todos los armarios el pasado otoño este año las blazers se reinventan y crecen en centímetros para que podamos usarlas sin nada debajo ;) Un giro muy sensual a esta prenda de carácter masculino que nos puede resolver muchos eventos y que ya podemos encontrar en tienda.

Last year we saw the first strokes of this trend, and if last autumn checked blazers conquered every wardrobe, this year this kind of jacket have reinvent itself growing up a few centimeters to use it like a dress. A very sensual twist to this masculine clothing that could get us out of trouble for some occasions and that we already could find in shops.

Falda asimétrica

Continúa el reinado de las faldas midi añadiendo algo más a la ecuación: el bajo desigual. Un corte que se lleva muy bien con estampados como el scarf print o las flores. Un toque de modernidad para este largo tan clásico y favorecedor; y aunque yo no soy muy fan de las asimetrías, nunca digas de este agua no beberé.

Midi skirts continue their kingdom adding something more to the equation: unequal hem. It fits so good with scarf print or flowers and make the classical style of this length modern. I'm not a big fan of asymmetries on fashion but I won't say I won't fall in this trend, just in case ;)

El brilli-brilli toma las calles. Ya no es solo un tejido para eventos de noche, las lentejuelas se cuelan en nuestras vidas y exigen su parte de protagonismo a plena luz del día. Vestidos, faldas, tops... no se puede negar que aportan mucha luz y son el complemento ideal a prendas más sobrias, por lo que pueden ser el contrapunto ideal a todas esas prendas neutras y en tonos tierra que nos trae el otoño, os atrevéis?

The sparkle clothing take the streets. It's not just a night occasions textile, sequins seep into our lives and ask for a bit of prominence in the sun light. Dresses, skirts, tops...we couldn't deny they provide so much light and are the perfect complement to more restrained clothing, so it could be the ideal counterpoint to all the neutral and earth tones clothes that autumn will bring us, are you ready for them?

Plisados 
Pleating

Los plisados vuelven a la carga no solo en faldas, su prenda estrella, si no en prendas como blusas o pañuelos, ya sea en una parte de la prenda o completamente. ¿Su característica principal? El movimiento y ligereza que aportan, especialmente adecuado para tejidos fluidos y prendas tipo lady. Este otoño diremos sí a los pliegues.

Pleated clothes come back stronger not only in midi skirts but also in blouses, shirts or scarfs, either as part of the garment or completely. Its principal attribute? Movement and lightness, that's why is specially suitable for fluid textiles and lady style clothing. This autumn we will say yes to folds.

Cuero (o polipiel)
Leather (or leatherette)

Más allá de bikers, calzado o bolsos, la piel (o polipiel) conquista nuestros armarios con prendas como faldas, pantalones, vestidos o camisas. Ya sea en negro (un clásico) o fundiéndose con prints de tendencia como el animal. Podemos incluirlo en pequeñas dosis pero, si sois atrevidas, podéis lanzaros a por el total look, qué me decís? ;)

Beyond bikers, shoes or bags, leather (or leatherette) conquer our wardrobes with clothing like skirts, trousers, dresses and shirts. Either in black (the classic one) or merging with trendy prints like the animal one. We could use it in small amount but, if you're daring, you could dash to total looks, what do you think?

En general, esta temporada vamos a ver muchas prendas de estilo country pero sin duda la reina de todas ellas son las botas cowboy. Las encontramos con diferentes alturas de caña, lisas y estampadas, pero si queréis apuntaros un doble tanto las vuestras son las de serpiente ;)

In general, this season we will see lot of country clothing but the main one without no doubt will be cowboy boots. We will find them with different lengths, plain and printed, but if you want to score two points, yours are the snake print ones ;)

Y es que ya no son riñoneras o al menos no las típicas riñoneras deportivas que se llevaban cruzadas en el pecho. Esta nueva temporada tienen un aire más sofisticado, pequeños bolsos que se anudan a la cintura y que, además de estilizar la figura marcando la cintura, son extremadamente cómodos.

They are no more this sporty belt bags crossed in the chest we were used to. This new season they have a more sophisticated touch, little bags that we put on our waist and that, apart from slender our body, are extremely comfortable.

No puedo engañar a nadie, son mis pendientes favoritos de todos los tiempos así que estoy encantada. En diferentes tamaños y grosores (fundamentalmente en dorado), ya los veíamos en temporadas pasadas pero puede que hayan llegado a su máximo esplendor. Cuanto más grandes, mejor ;)

I can't cheat anyone, they are my all time favorite earrings so I'm extremely glad with this trend. In different sizes and thickness (basically in gold tones), we've already seen them in the last seasons but this year they have reach their maximum splendor. The bigger, the better ;)
