Favoritos mayo-junio / May - June favourites

Estamos a mediados de julio y es el momento perfecto para recopilar los favoritos de los dos últimos meses. Favoritos que incluyen belleza, series o libros y algunas cosas de moda (obvio) que os pueden servir para inspiraros en esta temporada de rebajas, ¡allá vamos!

We are on mid July and I think it's the perfect moment to talk about my last two months favourites. Favourites that include beauty, series and books and some pieces of fashion (obviously) that I think could be useful to inspire you in the current sales season, let's start!

Tengo que empezar por un producto que me alucina y que es un básico en cualquier tocador (o debería serlo): la crema solar. Yo soy muy blanquita y necesito una protección bastante alta, además estoy muy concienciada con el cuidado de la piel y su protección frente al sol por lo que todas mis cremas son de factor 50. Y en busca de la crema perfecta para usar sola o antes de la base de maquillaje he encontrado la que creo va a ser mi crema de cabecera: la Ultra Light Daily UV Defense de Kiehl's. La textura no es nada densa, huele genial (no me gusta mucho el típico olor a crema solar, la verdad) y además no me saca granitos ni brillos, ¡es perfecta! No es la más barata del mercado pero os aseguro que si la probáis no vais a querer otra, ¡ya me contaréis ;)!

I wanted to start talking about a product that amaze me and that its a basic in every boudoir (or at least it should be): the sunscreen. I'm quite white so I need a high protection. Furthermore, I'm very aware with skin care and its protection against the sun so all my creams have a 50 UV Protection. And searching for the perfect sunscreen to use alone or under the make-up base I found a perfect match: Ultra Light Daily UV Defense from Kiehl's. Its texture is light, it has a very good smell (I don't like the typical sunscreen smell) and it haven't make my skin shine or provoque me spots, it's perfect! It's not the cheapest cream in the world but I'm sure that if you try it you won't want another one, tell me if you do that!

¡Atención a todas las rubias! Si estáis hartas de ir a la peluquería cada dos por tres a matizar el rubio pollo que deja el tiempo en vuestra preciosa melena tengo lo que buscáis. Me lo recomendó mi peluquera y creo que es una de las mejores recomendaciones que me han hecho nunca: la gama Blond Absolu de Kérastase. En concreto dos productos: el champú morado y el acondicionador Cicaflash. Ya había probado otros champús de este tipo anteriormente y los acababa dejando porque me secaban muchísimo el pelo, pero esta gama no me reseca apenas nada, de hecho el uso de los dos productos juntos me deja el pelo súper hidratado (además de matizado). Yo lo combino con el champú Bain Lumière de la misma gama, alternando uno y otro en cada lavado. Tengo pendiente probar el resto de productos de la misma linea así que no descartéis encontrar una ampliación de este post próximamente ;)

Attention, blond girls! If you're tired of going to the hair dresser continuously to maintain your perfect blonde I have something for you. It was recommended by my hairdresser and I think it's one of the best tips I have ever received: the Blond Absolu line from Kérastase. I have to recommend you specifically two products: the purple shampoo and Cicaflash conditionair. I have try another purple shampoos and my hair ended so dry and damaged but with this one it doesn't happen at all, using those two products togeteher my hair ends super hydrated and with a good color. I alternate it with Bain Lumière shampoo from the same line. I have to try the other Blond Absolu products so maybe I'll talk again about them soon ;)

Puede que el animal print no sea tan tendencia como el año pasado y quizá algunas estéis ya un poco cansadas, pero para mi el estampado de leopardo es un must en cualquier armario y una falda midi con este print puede hacernos el look. Tanto en primavera con deportivas y algo más abrigado por encima como en verano con una camiseta básica o un top de tirantes y unas sandalias. Yo tengo dos y me las he puesto hasta la saciedad. Como la de Zara es del año pasado e imposible de encontrar os dejo esta otra de un tejido tipo satén que tenéis tirada de precio en Aliexpress ;)

Maybe animal print is not as trendy as last year and maybe some of you are tired of it but, for me, this print is a must in every wardrobe and a midi skirt on that print could make the look. Either in spring with sneakers and sweaters or jackets or in summer with cotton t-shirts or tops and sandals. I have two and I wear them endlessly. Si me seguís por Instagram os habréis dado cuenta de que no me quito los bolsos de rafia. Y aunque los que estoy usando por ahora son de otra temporada, este año siguen siendo tendencia y podéis encontrar miles de modelos en cualquier tienda (os dejo el link de este de Mango que tenéis en dos tamaños). Me parecen el complemento perfecto para el verano: pegan con todo y dan un aire estival y desenfadado a cualquier look. Si todavía no tenéis uno (cosa que dudo) es vuestro momento ;)

If you're following me on Instagram you may have realized that I continuously use raffia bags. Although mines are from last season, this year they continue being trendy so you can find lots of them in every shop (I'll leave here that Mango bag link). I think they're the perfect complement for summer: they fit every outfit and give a summer and casual touch to every look. If you don't have one (which I doubt) this is your moment ;)

Después de mucho meditar (tengo mil series favoritas de estos dos últimos meses) he decidido resumir la lista en dos: "Chernobyl" y "Girls".

After meditating a lot about this point (I have lots of favourite series from the lasts two months) I have decided to choose two: Chernobyl and Girls. 

La primera es una serie muy corta (e intensa) sobre el desastre de Chernobyl y cómo se gestionó desde el gobierno de la URSS. Está tan bien ambientada que parece un documental y es absolutamente adictiva. A pesar de la sensación que deja, que no es nada agradable ya que se trata de un desastre que se cobró muchas vidas, creo que todo el mundo debería verla, me ha parecido una obra maestra.

The first one is a short (and intense) series about the Chernobyl disaster and how the URSS government manage it. It's so good set that it seems to be a documentary and it's absolutely addictive. In spite of the feeling that it leaves, which is not pleasant at all because it talks about a disaster that costs lots of lives, I think that everyone should watch it, is a master piece. 

Sé que llego tarde, pero no podía no mencionar esta serie en mis favoritos, Girls me ha parecido una de las mejores series que he visto nunca. Quizá sea porque me identifico un poco con ese momento de inquietud, con esa sensación de estar buscando tu camino sin saber muy bien hacia donde quieres ir...no lo sé, pero el caso es que me enganché de tal forma a esta serie que no podía dejar de verla. Los personajes son odiosos y a la vez adorables; te hace reír, llorar y, sobre todo, reflexionar. Supongo que no es una serie para todos los públicos pero creo que si eres mujer y estás entre los 20 y los 30 vas a sentirte tan unida a esta serie como yo.

I know I'm late but I couldn't avoid mention this series. Girls is one of the best series I have ever watch. Maybe because I identify with the moment they live, that feeling of being lost and try to find your way without knowing where you want to go...I don't know, but I hook on that series in a way that I couldn't stop watching it. Characters are hateful and cute at the same time; it makes you laugh, cry and think about so many social issues. I guess it's not for every kind of people but if you're a woman in your 20's-30's I'm sure you would like it.

Uno de los últimos libros que he leído, bastante breve pero muy inteligente, es "Un miércoles de enero" de Bob Pop. En él, Bob analiza la prensa publicada el miércoles 10 de enero de 2018 y hace un análisis desde una perspectiva muy interesante con ácidos toques de humor y una prosa impecable. Si le habéis escuchado y sentís que expresa todos vuestros pensamientos de forma absolutamente brillante o incluso si nunca habéis oído hablar de él y os animáis a una primera toma de contacto, este es vuestro libro.

One of the lasts books I've read, short but absolutely brilliant, is "Un miércoles de enero" from Bob Pop. In this book Bob analyze the newspapers and magazines published on Wednesday the 10th 2018 and make and analysis from a very interesting perspective with acid humour touches and a perfect prose. If you're not from Spain, he is known because of his job on a TV programme called "Late Motiv", and its a pleasure listening to him there. I guess it is not translated to other languages but if you're interested in Spanish politics and you have a good level of Spanish I'm sure you would like it.

Con la llegada del buen tiempo me apetece escuchar música animada y algo fiestera (para que engañarnos) y mi descubrimiento ha sido Delaporte (que por cierto, ponen la música al anuncio de El Corte Inglés de este verano). A mi, concretamente, me enamoraron con esta canción:

With the arrival of good weather I feel like listening to lively and party music (although I don't used to party) and my discovery this past months has been Delaporte. I fell in love with them in this song: 

Apps

Apps

Aunque yo normalmente entreno en el gimnasio, esta app me ha salvado la vida muchas veces (cuando no he tenido tiempo de entrenar o me apetecía hacerlo en casa). En ella podéis encontrar muchísimos entrenamientos, son bastante duros (no penséis que por entrenar en casa no vais a sudar) y me parece muy práctico sobre todo de cara al verano si nos apetece hacer ejercicio durante las vacaciones pero no sabemos muy bien qué.

Although I used to go to the gym, this app has safe my live plenty of times (when I have no time to train or I feel like training at home). You can find lots of trainings in it, they're quite hard (don't think you wouldn't sweat) and it's so practical, especially for the holidays if we want to train but don't know which kind of exercise do.
